Preview: Kent County Trojans vs. Easton Warriors
Kent County has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Easton Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Kent County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday.
Kent County posted their biggest win since December 5, 2023 on Thursday. Everything went their way against North Dorchester as Kent County made off with a 38-18 victory. Kent County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.
Among those leading the charge was Zoe Angenieux, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Kent County's points. Another player making a difference was Kate Cannon, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Easton beat Cambridge-South Dorchester 41-33 on Thursday.
Kent County's record is now 3-7. Easton's record now sits at 4-5.
Kent County came up short against Easton in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 40-31. Can Kent County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
