Baseball Game Preview: Irwin County Indians vs. Worth County Rams

Irwin County has won five straight games at home, while Worth County has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Indians will host the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Friday, Irwin County made easy work of Brooks County and carried off an 11-1 win.

Meanwhile, while Worth County put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Berrien. The Rams blew past the Rebels 9-0. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Irwin County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Worth County, their victory bumped their record up to 17-7.
