Baseball Game Preview: North Smithfield Northmen vs. Tolman Tigers

The North Smithfield Northmen will square off against the Tolman Tigers at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, North Smithfield came up short against Woonsocket and fell 8-3. The loss continues a trend for the Northmen in their meetings with the Villa Novans: they've now lost five in a row.

North Smithfield saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Dec, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Tolman took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Exeter-West Greenwich, sneaking past 7-6.
