Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Giles County). They were the clear victors by a 9-4 margin over the Spring Hill Raiders on Monday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Giles County's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Spring Hill are ranked 256th).

Giles County now has a winning record of 8-7-2. As for Spring Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Giles County will challenge Tullahoma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Hill, they will face off against Battle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
