Basketball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 39-25 bruising from the Emporia Spartans. If the Grizzlies were looking for revenge after losing 33-26 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Emporia, their win bumped their record up to 2-8-2.

Northwest will be playing at home against North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest is facing North at the right time seeing as North is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Emporia, they will venture away from home to take on Topeka on Tuesday.
