Volleyball Recap: Camden Central Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Camden Central duked it out with Lexington on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on September 6th.

Camden Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Lexington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Camden Central has already played their next contest (against Montgomery County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lexington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Crockett County on the 27th.
