Softball Recap: Borger Takes a Loss

Borger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 15-8 to the Fort Stockton Panthers.

Borger's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Fort Stockton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Borger didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-3 defeat against Sweetwater on the 21st. As for Fort Stockton, they will take on Tascosa at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Fort Stockton knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Tascosa likes a good challenge.
