Basketball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Takes a Loss

Triangle Math & Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Raleigh Charter Phoenix. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Phoenix from their previous meeting back in December of 2022.

Triangle Math & Science's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Raleigh Charter, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record.

Triangle Math & Science will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on River Mill at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Raleigh Charter and North Johnston will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on December 26th.
