Laurel waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Vancleave Bulldogs 69-18. The Golden Tornadoes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Laurel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Takaylen Dean, who went 5 of 7 en route to 13 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayllis Walker, who went 7 of 12 on her way to 15 points and six boards.

Laurel smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Laurel's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Vancleave, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Laurel will be playing in front of their home fans against Gautier at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vancleave, they will venture away from home to square off against Wayne County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
