Basketball Game Preview: Port Neches-Groves Indians vs. West Brook Bruins

Port Neches-Groves hasn't had much luck against West Brook recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Port Neches-Groves Indians will be home for the holidays to greet the West Brook Bruins at 7:00 p.m.

Port Neches-Groves is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since November 12th on Saturday. They came up short against Huntsville, falling 60-40.

Meanwhile, West Brook waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They blew past the Cougars 50-29. The Bruins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Port Neches-Groves' loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for West Brook, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.

Port Neches-Groves was dealt a bruising 64-35 defeat at the hands of West Brook when the teams last played back in November of 2021. Can Port Neches-Groves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
