Soccer Game Preview: Collierville vs. Christian Brothers

The Collierville Dragons will square off against the Christian Brothers Purple Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Collierville will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Collierville barely beat St. George's the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went Collierville's way against St. George's on Tuesday as Collierville made off with a 5-1 victory. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting St. George's from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Christian Brothers was not quite Houston's equal in the second half last Sunday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Purple Wave's first of the season.

Collierville's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Christian Brothers, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
