Volleyball Recap: Fairwinds Christian Comes Up Short

Fairwinds Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Greenwood Mennonite Flames. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-14.

Fairwinds Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Greenwood Mennonite, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Fairwinds Christian will venture away from home to take on Delaware Valley Classical at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenwood Mennonite, they will face off against Holly Grove Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
