Football Recap: Manheim Central Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

The Manheim Central Barons strolled past the Bermudian Springs Eagles with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 21-6. Given the Barons' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Eagles are ranked 352nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Manheim Central can attribute much of their success to Logan Geib, who rushed for 42 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The victory got Manheim Central back to even at 2-2. As for Bermudian Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Manheim Central and Bermudian Springs will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Barons are set to square off against their familiar foe Conrad Weiser at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bermudian Springs will take on rival Delone Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
