Basketball Recap: Hutchinson Takes a Loss

Hutchinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 59-49 to the Central Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 56-51 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

Hutchinson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Central, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hutchinson has already played their next contest (against Mound-Westonka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Central and New London-Spicer will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
