Basketball Recap: Frontier Regional Comes Up Short

Frontier Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Taconic Thunder, falling 69-43. While losing is never fun, the Red Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Thunder are ranked 47th).

Frontier Regional now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Taconic, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Frontier Regional has already played their next matchup (against Belchertown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Taconic, they will take on Pittsfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
