Baseball Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short

If Middletown was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Odessa last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers lost 11-2 to the Conrad Science Red Wolves on Thursday. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Conrad Science, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middletown will head out to take on Delaware Military Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Conrad Science, they will venture away from home to challenge Smyrna at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
