Basketball Recap: Ada Has No Trouble Against Chickasha

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ada had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Chickasha Fighting Chicks with a sharp 65-39 victory. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Fighting Chicks, too.

Sania Richardson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 50% from the field on her way to 26 points along with seven assists and three steals. Her big performance that afternoon made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 21 points. Karsyn Woods was another key player, putting up eight points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Ada was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They are 14-4 when they've passed the ball that well.

Ada is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.3 points. Chickasha is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

Ada has already played their next contest, a 68-40 win against McLoud on the 1st. Chickasha does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
