Soccer Game Preview: Dorman vs. Eastside

The Dorman Cavaliers will face off against the Eastside Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Dorman managed to keep up with Wade Hampton until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cavaliers lost 4-1 to the Generals. Dorman's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Morgan Hamm, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Eastside faced Daniel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Eastside in their matchups with Daniel: they've now won three in a row.

Eastside's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Dorman, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-1.
