Conotton Valley hadn't done well against Caldwell recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Rockets blew past the Redskins 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Redskins back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Conotton Valley never let Caldwell on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 27-25, 25-14.

Ava Williams paced Conotton Valley's offense, picking up 16 kills. Williams got some help from Delilah Williams and her 29 assists. Finally, Ava was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Despite the loss, Caldwell still got an impressive performance from Addysyn Leake, who had ten digs and one assist.

The win made it two in a row for Conotton Valley and bumps their season record up to 19-5. As for Caldwell, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Conotton Valley will take on Tuscarawas Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Caldwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
