Basketball Game Preview: St. John's Bluejays vs. Coldwater Cavaliers

The St. John's Bluejays will square off against the Coldwater Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as St. John's comes in on 11 and Coldwater on four.

St. John's will head into Sunday's match hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 34-point drubbing they dealt Lima Central Catholic on Sunday. St. John's really took it to Lima Central Catholic for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-42 win. The Bluejays have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Coldwater beat Wayne Trace 59-46 on Saturday.

St. John's pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Coldwater, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

St. John's came out on top in a nail-biter against Coldwater in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 60-57. Does St. John's have another victory up their sleeve, or will Coldwater turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
