Football Recap: Montgomery Central Takes a Loss

Montgomery Central started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Lexington Senior. They took a 21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets on Friday.

A big part of Lexington Senior's victory came down to the chemistry between Jaiden Summers and his top target Kamari McDonald. Summers threw for 232 yards and a pair of TDs while McDonald picked up 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Those 131 receiving yards gave McDonald a new career-high.

Montgomery Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lexington Senior, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-4.
