Soccer Recap: Rockbridge County Comes Up Short

Rockbridge County managed to slip by Staunton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Storm on Wednesday, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Rockbridge County's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rockbridge County's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Staunton, they moved to 10-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockbridge County will face off against Broadway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Staunton, they will square off against Spotswood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
