Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost against Mercer back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Mercer scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-23.

Franklin now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Mercer, their victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Franklin will venture away from home to take on Greenville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mercer, they will challenge Redbank Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
