Baseball Game Preview: Chester Yellowjackets vs. Okawville Rockets

Chester is a perfect 7-0 against Okawville since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Yellowjackets will head out on the road to square off against the Rockets at 4:30 p.m.

If Chester beats Okawville with three runs on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Yellowjackets came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 3-0 on Monday. Not much got past Evan Dunning, who gave up just three hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Okawville off the board. Dunning also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Chester is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-10 otherwise.
