Basketball Recap: Prescott Piles Up the Points Against Bradshaw Mountain

Prescott waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took their match with ease, bagging a 61-32 victory over the Bradshaw Mountain Bears. The Badgers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Prescott to victory were Addie Prisciandaro and Bella Abt. Prisciandaro went 10 for 21 en route to 30 points and four steals, while Abt dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. Prisciandaro's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Rayne Libis also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Prescott smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 15 consecutive games.

Bradshaw Mountain's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kalli Smith, who posted ten points along with eight rebounds and four blocks, and Emma Johnson, who scored eight points. Smith is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last six games she's played.

Prescott has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Prescott has already played their next game, a 71-40 win against Lee Williams on the 31st. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 55-37 loss against Flagstaff on the 31st.
