Football Preview: Teague Lions vs. Fairfield Eagles
Teague is 4-0 against Fairfield since November of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Leija got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 61 yards.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfield). They blew past McGregor 69-40 on the road last Friday.
The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Kohl Collins and Bubba Zacharias. Collins had a great game and threw for 547 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 21.9 yards per attempt. Meanwhile, Zacharias was balling out in the loss, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 407 yards and two touchdowns.
Teague pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fairfield, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
