Softball Recap: Homer-Center Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Homer-Center's offense. They came up short against the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays on Monday, falling 11-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Blue Jays recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Homer-Center now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Conemaugh Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Coming up, Homer-Center is taking a road trip to take on Portage at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Conemaugh Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Penns Manor at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Comets will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Blue Jays surely won't give up without a fight.
