Basketball Recap: Genesee Valley Takes a Loss

Genesee Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oakfield-Alabama Hornets.

Genesee Valley now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Oakfield-Alabama, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Genesee Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakfield-Alabama, they will head out on the road to square off against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Notre Dame knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Oakfield-Alabama likes a good challenge.
