Kokomo had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Lawrence Central Bears 6-4.

Harry Blake was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Kokomo is undefeated when Blake posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Landon Gibson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Kokomo's record now sits at 9-7. As for Lawrence Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kokomo will take on Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
