There's no place like home for New Braunfels, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Seguin Matadors 49-0. The contest marked the Unicorns' most dominant victory of the season.

LEVI GOLLA continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 193 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes, while also rushing for 42 yards and one touchdown. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was BROCK STEWART, who rushed for 77 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: New Braunfels was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 290 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

New Braunfels' win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Seguin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

New Braunfels and Seguin should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Unicorns will square off against Wagner at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (176 vs. 496). Meanwhile, Seguin (ranked 349th) will meet MacArthur (ranked 942nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
