Baseball Recap: Federal Way Beats Jefferson for Their Fourth Straight Victory

While Federal Way's victory against Jefferson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Raiders 2-1 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

Federal Way's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Titus Gillihan, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Another was Judah Westcott, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Federal Way, bringing their record up to 9-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.75 runs across that stretch. As for Jefferson, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10.

Federal Way will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
