Softball Recap: Cedar Valley Aviators vs. American Fork Cavemen

In what's become a running theme this season, Cedar Valley gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They never let the American Fork Cavemen onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Give Cedar Valley's pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Catharina Underwood was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. Underwood has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Underwood was also big at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a triple and a double.
