Preview: Lakeside School Chiefs vs. Lee-Scott Academy Warriors
Lakeside School has been on the road for three straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lakeside School will be strutting in after a win while Lee-Scott Academy will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Lakeside School was able to grind out a solid win over Springwood, taking the game 45-38.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeside School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adalyn Helms, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Helms, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Lee-Scott Academy was just a bucket shy of victory last Tuesday and fell 36-35 to Edgewood Academy.
Their wins bumped Lakeside School to 4-3 and Springwood to 6-1.
Lakeside School barely slipped by Lee-Scott Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2022, winning 40-39. Will Lakeside School repeat their success, or does Lee-Scott Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
