Volleyball Recap: Andover Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Andover extended their postseason success on Thursday against Bishop Feehan. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Shamrocks. The victory was familiar territory for the Golden Warriors, who have now won five contests in a row.

While Andover won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-22.

Ella Niles was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and two aces. Those ten digs gave her a new career-high.

Niles wasn't the only good servers: Andover was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in eight consecutive matches.

Andover's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Bishop Feehan, they moved to 15-7 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Coming up, Andover will square off against Franklin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Feehan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
