Basketball Recap: Nute Comes Up Short

Nute lost against Pittsburg back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Nute Rams might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 54-45 to the Pittsburg Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Nute's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Pittsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nute will welcome Portsmouth Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pittsburg, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Groveton at 6:30 p.m.
