Softball Recap: Chapman Comes Up Short

Chapman lost against Palmetto last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers fell 10-7 to the Mustangs.

Krisylyn Wilder was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Sophie Whitley, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Chapman's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Palmetto, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-11.

Chapman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palmetto, they will square off against West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
