Basketball Recap: Honeoye Falls-Lima Wins Going Away Against Batavia

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eastridge, Honeoye Falls-Lima was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 62-40 margin over the Batavia Blue Devils. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Blue Devils are ranked 460th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Honeoye Falls-Lima is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Batavia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Honeoye Falls-Lima will challenge Churchville-Chili at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Batavia, they will square off against Spencerport at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
