Morgan had won 12 straight home games dating back to last season and Sadie Passante did her part to make it 13 on Tuesday. The Morgan Huskies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cromwell Panthers 67-31 thanks in part to Passante, who went 10 for 21 en route to 25 points in addition to seven assists and six steals. Her evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.
Emma Teuner was another key player, putting up 11 points along with eight boards and six assists. Teuner is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Despite the defeat, Cromwell saw an underclassman step up: freshman Chloe Crawford went 5 of 9 on her way to 13 points. Crawford is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Kate Burgess also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.
