Bethany Fry and Lexie Edwards secure win for Marble Falls

Recap: Marble Falls Mustangs vs. Lago Vista Vikings
The Marble Falls Mustangs waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 45-33 victory over Lago Vista. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Marble Falls also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Marble Falls was led to victory by Bethany Fry and Lexie Edwards. Fry scored 12 points along with eight rebounds, while Edwards scored ten points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Roberts, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and five steals.
Marble Falls' win bumped their record up to 7-19. As for Lago Vista, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Burnet the next time they take the court. Lago Vista will host Burnet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Marble Falls will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
