The Anderson County Bulldogs got the win against the Southern Coffey County Titans on Monday by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Bulldogs have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Zach Schaffer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Brayden Wheat was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and one run. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. Aiden Steele was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Anderson County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Anderson County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Southern Coffey County by a score of 5-3 later that day.
