Basketball Game Preview: Menasha Bluejays vs. Winneconne Wolves

The Menasha Bluejays will head out on the road to challenge the Winneconne Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Menasha took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Monday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 62-35 victory over Plymouth.

Meanwhile, Winneconne had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Cougars, posting a 70-19 win. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Menasha now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Winneconne, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.

Menasha came out on top in a nail-biter against Winneconne in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, sneaking past 46-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Menasha since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
