Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Braves vs. Modoc Braves
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hamilton had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They skirted past the Modoc Braves 3-2. Hamilton has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Modoc, too.
Hamilton wouldn't go down easily and took Modoc into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-12, 25-16, 16-25, 15-9.
Hamilton has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season. As for Modoc, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-12.
After both having extra time off, Hamilton and Quincy will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Quincy will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Hamilton surely won't give up without a fight. Modoc does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
