Basketball Recap: Montcalm Takes a Loss

Montcalm kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a hard 64-50 fall against the Hurley Rebels. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

The victory got Hurley back to even at 1-1.

Montcalm has already played their next contest, a 44-36 win against Twin Valley on the 10th. As for Hurley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 81-48 defeat against Tazewell on the 10th.
