Basketball Recap: Northridge Makes It 11 in a Row on the Road

Northridge had won ten straight road games and Lily Scholl did her part to make it 11 on Thursday. Everything went the Northridge Raiders' way against the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies as the Northridge Raiders made off with a 60-37 victory thanks in part to Scholl, who went 10 of 14 on her way to 27 points in addition to six boards and five assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Rielyn Goodwin was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Plymouth lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Chloe Horton, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lena Jones, who posted six points along with ten boards and six assists.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Plymouth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.

Northridge will take on Goshen at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. One thing working in Northridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Plymouth, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 37-35 defeat against Glenn on the 4th.
