Basketball Recap: Lubbock Victorious

There's no place like home for Lubbock, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They slipped by the Plainview Bulldogs 49-48 on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Westerners' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 125th).

Lubbock is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season. As for Plainview, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Lubbock will welcome Caprock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Caprock has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Plainview, they will square off against Tascosa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tascosa will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Plainview surely won't give up without a fight.
