Football Recap: Los Banos Tigers vs. Pacheco Panthers
Los Banos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell to the Pacheco Panthers 17-12. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Jacob Sanchez had a dynamite game for Pacheco, rushing for 131 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. Sanchez got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 70 yards.
Los Banos' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pacheco, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Los Banos will challenge Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Los Banos will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak dating back to last season alive. As for Pacheco, they will have plenty of time to enjoy the victory as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Lathrop at 7:00 p.m. on September 20th.
