Softball Recap: Coppell Takes a Loss

Coppell fell victim to Guyer and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-0. The Cowboys just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Coppell's loss dropped their record down to 13-11-1. As for Guyer, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Coppell will take on rival Little Elm at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Guyer is set to square off against their familiar foe Hebron at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.2, the Hawks 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
