Trinity posted their closest win since December 21, 2023 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Keystone Wildcats 71-69. The win almost wasn't to be: the Trojans were down 48-31 in the second quarter.

Trinity's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Campbell, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 18 points and five rebounds. What's more, Campbell also posted a 60% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Cooper Hughes was another key player, going 6-for-13 on his way to 19 points and eight boards.

Despite the loss, Keystone saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Liam Goran went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 39 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. The matchup was Goran's fifth in a row with at least 21 points. Another player making a difference was Colt Cowling, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Keystone, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-3.

Coming up, Trinity will challenge Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fairview knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Trinity likes a good challenge. Keystone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
