Volleyball Recap: Heritage's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Heritage posted their closest win since October 7, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Heritage's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eva Vuichard, who had three digs and two aces. What's more, Vuichard racked up 30 assists, the most she's had over her last six matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyra Davis, who had 13 kills, four digs, and two blocks.

Despite the loss, Oxbridge Academy still got an impressive performance from Julia Fagan, who had eight assists and seven digs.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Oxbridge Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Pineapple Cove Classical Academy on the 29th. As for Oxbridge Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Palm Beach Gardens on the 30th.
