Soccer Recap: Stratford Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After soaring to four goals the game before, Stratford was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of the Philip Simmons Iron Horses by a score of 1-0. Stratford were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Philip Simmons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Stratford's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9. As for Philip Simmons, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.

Stratford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Philip Simmons, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manning at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Philip Simmons' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Manning have been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.
